Michael, the Co-Founder and Director of BRUSH, began his career specializing in colour and extensions. After 14 years, the growth of the salons and his evolving vision led him to transition from a hands-on stylist role to the strategic position of company Director. Utilizing his extensive expertise and unique sense of style, Michael launched Harloc, North America’s leading provider of ethically sourced, premium Remy Slavic hair extensions. He continues to lead both companies to the forefront of success.
As BRUSH approaches its ten year anniversary, Michael takes pride in the salon’s respected reputation among beauty industry experts and its features in notable publications such as FASHION, Flare, Refinery 29, and Mane Addicts.
Focused on enhancing customer experiences, Michael eagerly anticipates each interaction with clients who choose BRUSH and looks forward to welcoming you to the salon.

Now, with an extensive collection of clothing, beauty products, and shoes, Sara has evolved into a triple threat, offering her clients services as a makeup artist, stylist, and hairstylist. Her career has thrived due to her lifelong passion for beauty and fashion, coupled with her commitment to excellence.
Upon moving to Vancouver in 2010, Sara has expanded her portfolio remarkably by exploring numerous industry avenues. At 16 she started training behind the chair and worked her way to assisting the top stylist for High Fashion publications and runway shows in South Korea . With a passion for different cultures and travel, moving to Vancouver was her leap to broaden her knowledge in the industry, and embrace Canadian culture. Ji trained directly under Master Stylists, Calvyn Cass and Michael Gibson, to perfect her colour technique. As one of our talented Master stylist’s, she is obsessed with innovative design , and is inspired to be more than just your average artist.
