withinUs™ ReHydrate + TruMarine® Collagen contains 1g of functional organic cane sugar.
The organic cane sugar in our electrolyte blend is solely for function.
The organic, Non GMO Project Verified cane sugar is used to optimize the absorption of electrolytes and water.
You may see sugar-free electrolyte blends on the market, but the absence of sugar makes them less effective in hydrating your body efficiently. A solution of water + glucose (sugar) + sodium (salt) hydrates your body better than water alone.
Each carefully selected mineral in withinUs ReHydrate + Collagen is included in citrate form. Citrate state minerals are proven to be more effective and bioavailable, and also work to control acidity in the body.
Sodium - Regulates water in the body. It also plays an important role in maintaining the healthy function of muscles and nerves, and helps control blood pressure levels.
Potassium - Is important for regular digestive and muscular functioning in the body, and is vital for healthy heart function. Potassium enables our cells to absorb more water, therefore keeping the body hydrated.
Magnesium - Is essential for healthy immune system functioning. Magnesium helps increase bone strength and also helps the heart beat rhythmically by allowing it to relax between beats. Deficiency is common and can affect overall mood.
Calcium - Is responsible for many functions such as nerve transmission, muscle growth and contractions and ensuring a regular heartbeat. Calcium deficiency can result in the body taking calcium from the bones, resulting in weakened bones, and muscle cramps.
Chloride - Works with Potassium and Sodium to help balance acids in the body. Chloride aids the movement of fluid in and out of cells, and helps muscles contract effectively, and also keeps tendons and joints healthy.
withinUs TruMarine® Collagen - An Ultra-Pure, Premium-Select Grade marine collagen peptide. Provides the 3 amino acids essential for collagen production in the body - important for lean muscle gain, muscle recovery, reducing joint pain, and increasing overall health
