Hello everyone, 

Michael here. I am extremely grateful for the support I’ve received from our community since launching our mental health initiative at BRUSH, in partnership with the Canadian Mental Health Association. This cause, inspired by my dad’s battle with mental health issues—a silent battle that many face—is close to my heart and represents my commitment to changing lives.

Exciting news: For those of you who don’t already know, I have been growing my hair since 2017 and haven’t coloured it, all for this purpose—the person who donates the highest amount to our cause will have the chance to chop off my ponytail! On top of that, they will win a $500 gift card to BRUSH Salon. I’m cutting my hair to donate to Wigs For Kids, supporting children in need and raising money for the CMHA all at the same time. Here’s how you can make a difference:

• The Prize: Not a fan of my long hair? Whether you think men shouldn’t have long hair or you’re just not a fan of me personally (lol)—here’s your chance to chop it off on June 3rd, 2024, and WIN a $500 gift card to BRUSH Salon!
• The Cause : All proceeds support our partnership with the Canadian Mental Health Association. Additionally, I will be donating my hair to Wigs for Kids to help make a difference in the lives of children who have lost their hair due to chemotherapy.

The winner will join me at L’Oreal’s pop-up event on June 3rd, where I’ll be speaking in collaboration with the L’Oreal HeadUp program, a free mental health training to support professionals in the hair industry.
